some notes

interview of Ryan Woodward-thought of you --from IMAGINE

Q: How would you describe this animation?
It's an animated dance that really has no prescribed meaning or narrative. Two characters are intimately related, yet the outcome is up to each individual to define what the dance is all about.
Q: Why did you create it?
I'm really not sure. I've really enjoyed taking the medium of animation and experimenting with what it can do and what it can communicate. Once those ideas of inspiration hit you, you just have to do it- I'm not really sure why, I certainly didn't make any money from this, but deep down, I just had to make it.

You can't just draw characters, You have to imagin them; you have to create them. It's not just what they look like, but who they are. (Matt Mcabre) ---from ARTS

This graduating film from Gobelins art school in France was nominated for best student film at Imagina2011. A rather dark fairytale where the king order the beaver to build him a kingdom and it all comes crashing down.
